Evo Slim Supplement Facts: The Full Label Panel

What the panel says

One capsule is one serving of Evo Slim, and each bottle holds 30 servings.

The panel lists 20 ingredients with an amount for each. Seven carry a percent Daily Value and 13 have none set. Other ingredients are hypromellose and rice flour.

Read about each ingredient.

A Supplement Facts panel is the one part of a supplement that is regulated as information rather than as marketing, which is why it is worth more than anything on the front of the bottle.

The artwork

The Evo Slim label as the manufacturer printed it

The printed Evo Slim label artwork showing the suggested use, the caution and the Supplement Facts panel
The full printed labelThe left block carries the suggested use, the storage line and the caution. The right block is the Supplement Facts panel transcribed above, with the other ingredients running vertically beside it. The distributor block at the foot names a PO box belonging to the brand owner, and it is not the returns address for an order placed here: returns go to Evoslimdaily in New York, after a call to order support, and the guarantee page sets out why that matters to your refund window.

What the markings mean

Reading the Evo Slim panel: percentages, daggers and forms

Three conventions, each of which changes what a number on this panel is telling you.

The percent Daily Value

Seven entries carry one. The percentage compares the amount in one capsule with a reference intake set for a general adult population, not with anything specific to you. Chromium at 191% means one capsule carries nearly twice that reference; the NIH fact sheet on chromium gives the underlying figures. Biotin at 1,000% means ten times, which sounds alarming and is not: biotin has no upper limit set.

The dagger

Thirteen entries carry a dagger and the footnote “Daily Value not established”. That is the correct marking when no reference intake exists, which is the case for every botanical and for vanadium. It says nothing about whether the ingredient does anything. What it does mean is that the percentage column cannot help you, and the raw milligram figure is the only thing to judge by.

The form in brackets

Every mineral here names its form: magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, manganese and chromium as amino acid chelates, vanadium as vanadyl sulfate. The form changes absorption, and naming it is a mark in this label’s favour. The botanicals name their species and their plant part, which is also better practice than most. What none of them names, except the banaba, is the extract ratio.

The disagreement

Why the Evo Slim order page and the Evo Slim bottle do not match

This is worth stating once, precisely, because it is the single most confusing thing about this product for anyone comparing pages.

The seller’s order page carries no Supplement Facts panel and names no ingredient. A shopper reading only that page would reasonably conclude that nothing had been disclosed. The bottle disagrees: the printed label carries a complete panel with an amount beside all twenty entries, and that artwork was supplied to this desk with the product.

Every figure on this website comes from that artwork. None of it is estimated, none is inferred from the seller’s marketing, and none is borrowed from another product. Where the artwork is silent, this website says so in the section whose job that is rather than filling the gap.

If the panel on the bottle you receive differs from the transcription above, that is worth a call to +1 (877) 257-0710 with the lot code from the base of the bottle in front of you. The bottle-checking page explains what to look at.

The percentage trap

What a percent Daily Value on the Evo Slim panel can and cannot tell you

The column most buyers read first, and the one most easily misunderstood.

A percent Daily Value compares one serving with a reference intake set for a general adult population. It is a comparison with a figure on a chart, not with what your body needs today, and it says nothing about whether an ingredient does what the front of the bottle implies.

A high percentage is not a strong ingredient. Biotin at 1,000% is the largest percentage on this panel by a wide margin, and biotin is also the entry with the least to do with anything the front of the bottle promises. It is high because the reference intake is small: the NIH fact sheet puts the adult adequate intake at 30 mcg.

A missing percentage is not a weak ingredient. Thirteen entries here carry a dagger because no reference intake exists for them. Cinnamon bark at 50 mg has a meta-analysis behind it and no Daily Value. Vitamin E at 7 mg has a Daily Value of 47% and a much thinner claim to anything this product is sold for. The percentage column ranks nutrients against a chart, not ingredients against each other.

Percentages cannot be added across a day. If you already take a multivitamin, chromium at 191% here lands on top of whatever that one carries, and so do the zinc and the biotin. Reading two panels side by side is worth five minutes before the first capsule, and NCCIH on using dietary supplements wisely is the plain guide to doing it.

And a percentage is not an effect. Seventy-three per cent of a zinc Daily Value tells you what arrives, not what happens. A 2024 review of zinc in health and disease is the place to read the second question.

The other blocks

The three Evo Slim label blocks that are not the panel

A Supplement Facts panel is only part of a label. Three other printed blocks carry things a buyer can act on.

Suggested use

“As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. For best results, take 20-30 minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water or as directed by your healthcare professional.”

Two instructions in there are easy to miss: the full 8 oz of water, and the 20 to 30 minutes. The first is about getting a capsule past the throat, the second is about the bitters on this panel, which are traditionally pre-meal ingredients. The routine that follows is on the usage page.

Storage

“Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.”

A bathroom cabinet is warm and humid, which is the opposite of that, and it is where most supplements in most homes live. A kitchen shelf away from the hob is better, and the bottle is opaque for the same reason the line mentions light.

Caution

“Do not exceed recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 18 and individuals with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing.”

Four separate statements, and the last is the one people skip. A damaged or missing safety seal is a reason to call +1 (877) 257-0710 rather than a reason to shrug, and a bottle that arrives that way should not be opened.

The label also prints “Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients”, which is two claims rather than one: the assembly is domestic, the raw material is not necessarily. The testing and quality page takes both apart.

A good label

What the Evo Slim panel does better than most, and what it does worse

Better than the category average

  • Every amount is printed. No proprietary blend and no total to guess inside. That alone puts this panel ahead of a large part of this aisle.
  • Mineral forms are named. Magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, chromium and manganese as amino acid chelates, vanadium as vanadyl sulfate. Absorption differs by form, and a label that hides the form hides something useful.
  • Species and plant part are given for every botanical: Cinnamomum zeylanicum bark, Gymnema sylvestre leaf, Juniperus communis berry.
  • One standardisation is printed, the banaba at 1% corosolic acid, which makes at least one exact calculation possible.

Worse than it could be

  • No extract ratio on the other twelve botanicals, so 20 mg of bitter melon extract cannot be traced back to an amount of fruit.
  • No capsule fill weight, so the proportion of rice flour is unknowable from the label.
  • No facility named, only a country of assembly.
  • No lot-specific certificate published. The reference on the batch page is a label reference, not a laboratory report.

The checklist this desk uses to judge any panel in this category, and how Evo Slim scores against it row by row, is on the choosing guide.
